Why Coaching is Good

Like many girls growing up in the 70s, I wanted to be a cheerleader. I came from a basketball-loving family, before Title IX, and the only women near the court were cheerleaders so that's what I wanted to be. Things changed. I started playing, grew to be six feet tall and became the first woman to score 1,000 points at Amherst College! Now I've gone from being a player to being a coach -- an executive, career and life coach. And today I am finally able to fulfill my girlhood dream of being a cheerleader, as I help my clients reach their goals and aspirations. It's the best part of my job.

By tapping into my clients’ strengths and capitalizing on what’s working in their lives we set the stage to inspire change and develop a strategy to achieve it. Using research-based strategies I establish a partnership with my clients to identify goals and work toward best possible outcomes.

Workshops

Programs built on the principles of Positive Psychology teach participants research-based strategies to improve performance and well-being. Topics include goal-setting, strengths, leadership, work-life balance and resilience. Workshops are interactive and skills based, so participants can immediately apply new behaviors to work, academics and relationships.

Speaking

Custom-designed talks infuse the presentation with energy as the audience is treated to an engaging and entertaining learning experience. From conference keynotes and team building retreats to motivational talks for management and sports teams teams, each event contains relevant content and strategies to help groups perform at their best.
